Building Life Around Grief

Loss and the resulting grief that affects us all at some point never disappears; we just grow our lives around it. This free workshop – led by Stuart Handloff, MTA, and Sara Ross, LCSW – will be held outdoors, weekly on Thursdays from August 6-20, 5:30pm until 7pm, and will use theatre arts practices to support rebuilding and personal growth as a means to find adjustment to the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, the loss of a job or home, a favorite pet who was euthanized, or virtually any event that evokes grieving. We don’t “move on” or “get over” a loss; we just learn to have it as part of our lives. This group workshop will assist with adjusting to living with grief and growing our lives around it. Please plan to attend all three sessions!
