Performed by our summer cast and created specifically for young audiences and the young at heart, this charming production celebrates bravery, independence, and the joy of being exactly who you are.

Steal from the rich. Give to the poor. Try not to trip on your cape. Robin Hood: Abridged swings into the Branham Amphitheater this summer — performed by Piknik Theatre's talented Junior Cast (ages 10–14) and packed with arrows, outlaws, and enough laughs to fill Sherwood Forest. It's fun for the whole family and a wonderful way to cheer on the next generation of Steamboat performers.
So bring a "Piknik" blanket and some lunch, settle into the open-air amphitheater, and enjoy an afternoon in Sherwood Forest with Robin and Co. You won't want to miss it. Choose premium in-the-round seating, a family four-pack, or pay-what-you-can lawn

We believe theatre is a place where everyone belongs, whether a student is drawn to performing, designing, building, writing, or supporting the story behind the scenes.
Our Summer Camps are designed to support a wide range of interests, curiosities, and ability levels, with a flexible structure that allows each student to engage in stagecraft and performance in the ways that excite them most.
To ensure access for all families, we offer scholarships for students who are learning to read and write English as a second language and for those who are economically disadvantaged.

THEATRE CAMPS
Piknik Theatre extends our heartfelt thanks to the Craig Scheckman Family Foundation, whose generous support makes our children's programming possible. Because of their belief in the power of the arts to shape young lives, more kids across the Yampa Valley can step into the spotlight and into the audience this summer — through camp scholarships that open our four-week program to every aspiring performer regardless of cost, and through Fairy Tale Theater, our new series of free, family-friendly productions for our youngest neighbors. The Foundation's partnership ensures that wonder, creativity, and the joy of live theater belong to all children, not just some. Thank you for helping us grow the next generation of artists, dreamers, and storytellers.
