Our mission is to create professional and community-inclusive performing arts in the Yampa Valley, ensuring accessibility through free summer Shakespeare productions and community based theatrical workshops and classes. We value arts education and provide opportunities for our artists to teach workshops, engage with schools, and connect with audiences of all ages.

For nearly twenty years, Piknik Theatre has made live performance accessible in Northwest Colorado. We produce professional theatre, introduce children to the performing arts, support emerging artists, and create opportunities for people of all ages to gather through story, music, and play.

Our School's Out, camps turn school days off into days of acting, singing, and play.
Through our partnership with the Steamboat Springs School District, theatre becomes part of the classroom. And every season, our children's theatre productions give kids of all ages a real stage to share their work. Each program offers a welcoming place to make friends, build confidence, and discover their own artistic voice.
