school’s out, on stage
Turn school days off into days of acting, singing, and play. Performing arts camps for kids ages 6 to 12.
School Day Off-Camp
When school’s out, the stage is open. Our camps provide parents with safe and creative childcare for ages 6+. Students enjoy a full day of theatre games, storytelling, and hands-on creativity with professional teaching artists. Every camper leaves with new friends, more confidence, and a little more of their own creative voice.
We expanded our out-of-school programming so every family has a safe, creative place for their kids on teacher work days and other school closures, especially the children of our educators, who still have to work when school is out.

FAQs
What ages are Piknik Theatre camps for?
1
Most Piknik camps are designed for elementary and early middle school-aged children, with specific age ranges listed for each program. Children ages 6+ are welcome.
Does my child need theatre experience?
2
Not at all. Some campers arrive already loving the stage, while others have never performed before. We create opportunities for children with different personalities, interests, and experience levels to participate in ways that feel comfortable and exciting to them.
What if my child doesn't want to perform?
3
That's okay! Theatre needs far more than actors. Children may discover that they love creating props, designing scenery, writing stories, working backstage, making music, or helping bring someone else's idea to life.
How can I contact you?

You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.
