Make the stage, a safe space for all
Supporting Piknik Theatre means supporting much more than what happens on stage. From a child experiencing live theatre for the first time to a young artist finding their place on stage, your support creates opportunities to learn, create, belong, and connect right here in our community.
Our StorySupporting Piknik Theatre means supporting much more than what happens on stage. Your gift helps make possible professional summer theatre at the Branham Amphitheatre, Children’s Theatre productions, Fairy Tale Theatre, summer and winter camps, School Day Off Camps, and paid opportunities for high school interns and young artists.
For local families, that support has a very practical impact. When school is closed but parents still have to work, our School Day Off Camps provide a safe, affordable place where children can spend the day creating, playing, making friends, and being cared for by people they know. Our camps and Children’s Theatre programs also give families accessible arts opportunities close to home, without requiring a trip out of the Yampa Valley.
Your gift can directly support a local family:
• Donate $100 and provide a local child with a full day of safe, creative care during a school break.
• Donate $425 and provide a child with a full week of creative programming and care.
• Donate $750 and provide a School Year Punch Card, allowing a child to attend any or all of Piknik Theatre’s School Day Off Camps throughout the school year.
From helping a parent get through a school closure to giving a child their first chance to perform on a real stage, your gift supports families in ways that are immediate, meaningful, and deeply connected to everyday life in our community.
Donations to this campaign may also qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, providing eligible donors with an additional Colorado state income tax credit for qualifying contributions. Please consult your tax advisor to learn how this credit may apply to your gift.
