For nearly twenty years, Piknik Theatre has brought live performance to Northwest Colorado. What began with Shakespeare in the park has grown into a season of stories rooted in a literary tradition, performed by professional artists and shared with audiences of all ages, with free and reduced-price lawn seats so everyone has a place. We give kids a real stage, support emerging artists, and bring people together through story, music, and play.

Our School's Out, camps turn school days off into days of acting, singing, and play.
Through our partnership with the Steamboat Springs School District, theatre becomes part of the classroom. And every season, our children's theatre productions give kids of all ages a real stage to share their work. Each program offers a welcoming place to make friends, build confidence, and discover their own artistic voice.
